RF Electronics Appendix 1: Importing Local Vendor and Spice Files Page 386 2022, C. J. Kikkert, James Cook University, ISBN 978-0-6486803-9-0. Figure A1.2 Cree Wolfspeed Library folder structure. To use the library, open a project file and either start a New With Library project and select the appropriate library, or in an existing project select Project > Process Library > Add/Remove Library and select Add if the desired library is not shown, which will then show the AWM_Product library. Selecting that will include the Ampleon library in the project. The AMP_Product_Simulation_Example project can then be opened as shown in figure A1.3. Figure A1.3. Ampleon Simulation Example. Other libraries can be installed in a similar manner. Importing Spice Device Models The process of importing Spice files is illustrated using some examples. Since chapter 10 uses Spice models of operational amplifiers (OpAmps), they are used to illustrate the process. Very useful information outlining this process is given in the help files, available from inside AWRDE by selecting "Help Help on Selected item" and in the AWR Design Enviroment Help, type Pspice in the search text box and click on the first item in the list "User Guide > Netlists > 5.3 Importing or Linking to a Netlist".
