RF Electronics Appendix: Producing Graphs using AWR DE Page 389 2022, C. J. Kikkert, James Cook University, ISBN 978-0-6486803-9-0. Appendix 2 Producing Graphs using AWR Design Environment Generating Plots AWR Design Environment is very good for producing graphs and plots to be used in technical articles, journal papers and seminars. The data to be plotted typically has the following form shown in table A2.1. Any line beginning with a "!" is a comment line. The data is in the form of columns or rows of data, typically as shown below for the monthly data of the South Australian electricity demand and price during 2021 [1]. Table A2.1. A Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU), measures the Voltage, Phase, Frequency and Rate of Change of Frequency (RFE or ROCOF) of 3 phase mains supplies. The paper describes computer simulations produced by an algorithm that is suitable for implementation in an FPGA. Most of the plots presented in the paper were produced using AWR Design Environment. Each simulation as shown in figure A2.1 produces data with 200800 rows and 14 columns, the AWR project used for figures A2.1 to A2.4, contains 8 different simulations, so 2.6 million values. Figure A2.1 is the same as figure 10 of [2] and is a plot with 200000 of the 200800 simulation values plotted on the horizontal scale. Figure A2.1. Plot with 200000 points on each trace.
