RF and Microwave Oscillators At RF and Microwave frequencies (above 1GHz), transmission lines are often used as circuit elements. The MAR6 amplifier, used here, is a typical MMIC costing less than $10. These devices are very simple to use, are convenient, and can be used as low power amplifier blocks in many applications.
